A recent study has shown that us Brits really are keen on our gadgets, and it has been revealed that around 9 hours a day are spent fiddling with these devices.

Waking hours are spent switching off the morning alarm (or pushing the snooze button!), working on a computer in the office, lounging out in front of the television (or computer again) after work, and fiddling with gadgets such as mobile phones and iPods throughout the course of the day.

Rather alarmingly, for a proportion of those questioned, the obsession doesn’t end at bedtime, with some addicts admitting they even had dreams about new gadgets!

Strange stuff indeed!
