Being technologically away myself, I can tell you that this won’t happen on the mainstream and if some people did do this and adopt such methods for their lives, sooner or later they will realise it’s downfalls and move elsewhere.

What’s your opinion on this?

Do you agree?

Why such the fuss and hesitation by not just consumers but the largest and biggest businesses in the world? Well, Apple are rumoured to announce some of their biggest products yet. Two of the main products to be announce (which are rumoured) are

The Apple iPhone running the new Apple OS 4.0

The new Apple tablet which has been rumoured for years on end.

It’s going to be a very big event for Apple. Another point to note is that when Apple generally announce something, the new products are released within a short time as compared to other companies.

It’s not everyday that a postal strike over working hours and conditions causes people to receive their copies of Windows 7 earlier than in many countries of the world, but this is what happened today. Many happy customers where surprized in a good way when their shiny new windows 7 discs arrived through the post much earlier than expected.
Windows 7 is the much anticipated replacement for Windows Vista which was a complete flop due to its bloated, processor hungry, nagging features. Windows 7 seems to be a lot better, running on older hardware.
The proposed postage strike would have meant that its official release date would have coincided with the postage strike and so in a good public relations move, Microsoft allowed some retailers such as PC World and Amazon to release their copies early.

There’s been a massive drop in the shipments of personal computers (PC) by 5% between April and June as record revealed yesterday. Global shipments in the second quarter stood at 68.1 million units as per a report by Gartner a computer research group. This is down from a figure of 71.7 million earlier. Although the decline was expected due to the recession and the downturn in the global credit crunch a major factor the dip in the figures was still less than the originally predicted 9.8%. as a result there is revived hope based on these small signs that the market is recovering slowly but surely.
